You know how I say I hate coloring? Well ok, that's not 100% true, I just hate coloring past the point that I've colored on each of these. S'like, *YAY color the face* then.. 'Mmk I'm tired of this' lol.
I did the first 3 in Photoshop and the last guy in Open Canvas just for the hell of it.. I think open canvas wins. For me anyway.. I guess it depends on what texture I want. But then again I think the shadows are easier to make more dynamic and you can't beat watercolor tool auto-blending :/
Also on the first three pieces I was trying out the brush that *fayrenpickpocket
uses in her PS tutorial
. BTW, people who want me to make a coloring tutorial: that tutorial is also pretty close to how I color. Just imagine her method, except a lot messier and with lazier and less creative use of color and light, and you can color like me too.
So now my brother and I have all three expansions of Guild Wars ohoho. It is way prettier than WoW
. ..Not that I've seen a whole lot of WoW but whatev x). And I would say it takes more strategy but that's only what I heard..
Mk so L to R we got: Ulla, my aging kickass warrior; Bitte, my bossy paragon; Di, a rare sweet, non-dominatrix mesmer (xD); and Donny, your friendly neighborhood assassin. That's his little assassin mask thing he's holding if you couldn't tell x).
Bitte's gotten new armor since I colored this though!! Yay elite armor!
Also, yay game mechanics. x)
